Care for the Homeless

The “Care for the Homeless” initiative of SATYANANDA MATH – Amba ®  began on December 21, 2022, with the aim of supporting vulnerable social groups, especially homeless individuals and others in need in the port area of Piraeus.

The initiative takes place every Monday afternoon and expands during special periods such as Christmas, New Year, and Easter, offering warmth, care, and human connection.

Each meal is complete and nutritious, prepared with fresh vegetables, olive oil, and high-quality ingredients. It includes a main dish, salad, bread, fruit, dessert, and bottled water.

At the same time, essential support items are distributed, including clothes, shoes, and personal hygiene products such as shampoo, shower gel, baby wipes, and other necessities.

During the winter season, warm clothing, blankets, and sleeping bags are also distributed in order to provide greater warmth and comfort to those in need.

Every meal and every offering is a small yet valuable act of care that strengthens dignity, support, and hope for people facing hardship.

The initiative is carried out entirely through volunteer participation and the support of companies and private donors, ensuring stable and high-quality assistance while offering compassion and hope to those who need it most.
