It is with great joy that after more than two years in lockdown, the ashram is again opening to welcome devotes to the celebration: Connecting to the Source.<\/p>\n

Beginning on Saturday 9th July, and culminating on the day of Guru Poornima, with the Full Moon of Wednesday 13th, one is welcome to come from any time in July prior to this date.\u00a0 Please note that arrivals at the ashram on these days be no later than 21.00. Departures are on Thursday 14 July at 10.00.<\/p>\n

Guru Poornima is a time to remember one\u2019s guru with love and gratitude. A time to connect with guru, to honour and to celebrate the guru’s presence in our lives.<\/p>\n

The five days program will include various discourses, yoga sessions, Yoga Nidra of the Satyananda System of Yoga, chanting, pujas, havan, kirtan with Tarana from Croatia and meditation practices.<\/p>\n

Swami Sivamurti Saraswati will be giving a series of Satsangs in honour this auspicious occasion.<\/p>\n

During these days there will also be a Caravan Serai (bazaar) with a great many attractions and surprises for all age groups.<\/p>\n

Guru does not mean a teacher, professor or trainer. The guru may not give you theoretical knowledge or guide you in matters of mystery and mysticism. He may not be able to give you a religion or religious teaching. He may not even speak to you at all, but there is a link which has been established between you and your guru, and through that link his energy can flow incessantly to you and keep your spiritual inspiration always kindled.<\/p>\n
