She was initiated into the Dashnami order of Sannyasa after having acquired training from Sri Swami Satyananda in various branches of yoga and the tradition of Sannyasa. On receiving her guru’s mandate to spread yoga in Greece, she brought the teachings of Satyananda Yoga to Greece in 1976. Since then, she has been safeguarding the integrity, tradition, authenticity and high quality of teaching of Satyananda Yoga in Greece.
