Satyanandashram Hellas celebrates Guru Poornima this year in a notably unique way as it is a momentous occasion which coincides with the birth centenary of our beloved gurudev Sri Swami Satyananda Saraswati. An array of events have already been running throughout 2023, paying tribute to this great visionary who touched and transformed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people from all around the world.
Guru’s presence in our life is especially felt during the time of the July full moon when all the cosmic vibrations come into a particular alignment which makes it easier for the disciple to feel their connection to the guru tattwa, as on Guru Poornima, the guru touches the hearts of all his disciples.
During this auspicious time, it becomes easier for one to tune into the vibration of the higher consciousness. It is a time when disciples renew and strengthen their connection in the guru and rededicate themselves to spiritual sadhana.
Guru Poornima is your rebirth day – be ready
Empty yourself so you can be filled with music
Bathe in nectar and await the rising sun
As darkness disappears, shake your body and mind
Let your samskaras drop away
Tune in with me on the spiritual plane
And begin to live a beautiful new life.[i]
